10-15-2009: Plone Development
Academic Computing is looking to hire a student intern to do a mix of workflow app development and generic product development in Plone. The ideal person would not graduate until 2011. Skills in the ideal person:
- Python
- Unix/Linux
- object oriented programming
- HTTP, XML
- ability to be self-directed and goal-oriented, a self-starter
In addition to that one coding intern, ACS now has STEP funds to pay for another student who would do a combination of Plone support and "consulting" (working with units who have Plone sites and showing them how to get more out of their site by suggesting different products, forms, and maybe workflow apps).
Faculty Development is looking for a student who can cover the range of Plone consulting down to workflow app development. (They have STEP funding approved as well)
Finally, Reeve is looking for a student programmer to support their Plone site.Ben Puckhaber 10-15-2009 12:09PM CDT
